The 2016 Bauer Nexus 1N Grip Stick boasts a brand new shaft shape and an all new taper that work together to provide the quickest and most effective loading process from Nexus to date. This was made possible because these two updates allow players to more easily load the vertical x-axis of the shaft rather that the just the horizontal y-axis of the stick.
The new Control shaft dimensions are 14% more rounded than the previous 1N, which had been using the same tooling as the previous Supreme sticks. This new construction process also enabled Bauer to give the 2017 a more aggressive and stiffer taper. The Pure Shot Blade Profile reinforces the taper and the blade's connection point, making sure the blade face stays square to the target while shooting for deadly accuracy.
The 2017 Bauer Nexus 1N features excellent key carry over technology such as TeXtreme carbon fiber, the MonoComp construction process and the eLASTech Resin system too. TeXtreme is 20% stronger and 20% lighter than traditional carbon while the eLASTech Resin System reinforces the carbon with nanotubes that increase pop life while preventing cracking. The MonoComp construction process eliminates the fusion point typically found in fused two-piece sticks. This makes for a more efficient energy transfer, a better-balanced feel in the hands and a lighter overall weight.
